SIOETC, as a member of the IMRF delegation, visited the UK JRCC and Bristow Search and Rescue Base.
Subsequently, the delegation proceeded to the Bristow Search and Rescue Helicopter Base, where they gained in-depth insights into the implementation of the UK Second-Generation SAR Aviation Programme. They also observed on-site demonstrations of advanced search and rescue helicopters and airborne medical equipment, including the application of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation systems. 🚁

This visit fully demonstrated the UK's outstanding experience in search and rescue system development, technological innovation, and multi-stakeholder collaboration. It also brought new insights to SIOETC in advancing maritime safety training, emergency response, and international cooperation.
Such international exchanges will continuously enhance global emergency response capabilities and jointly safeguard lives at sea." 🌍
